BLUE COAST

Coastal shoreline with blue tones and calm water, fine art seascape photograph

BLUE COAST

Story Behind the Photograph

The fog rolled in quietly, without warning, and the blue settled over everything. Water, sky, and distance collapsed into a single tone. The pier became the only certainty, a narrow line of wood leading into what could not be seen. Birds gathered ahead, waiting, watching, as if they knew something I did not. Beyond them, the world disappeared. This photograph was made in a moment when direction mattered more than destination. When moving forward felt necessary, even though the end was hidden. It is about solitude, but not abandonment. About fear, but also restraint. About standing in the stillness long enough to discover whether silence is empty, or whether it is where God speaks most clearly.

Isaiah 43:2
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.”
